Philipp Alfter advises and represents clients in complex proceedings before state courts and arbitration tribunals. He has broad experience in contract and corporate disputes as well as in data protection litigation. Philipp Alfter has acted as counsel in domestic and international commercial arbitration proceedings governed by the DIS and ICC rules and has represented clients in set-aside proceedings before German state courts.
Prior to joining rothorn legal, Philipp Alfter worked for several years as an associate at the international law firm Freshfields in Frankfurt, specialising in dispute resolution. He studied at the Goethe University Frankfurt and the University of Florida and earned his doctorate with a thesis on “The standard of proof in international commercial arbitration”.
Philipp Alfter is fluent in English and German.
